Character Design
Roster design, idea was to have distinct visual silhouettes and themes for each character. Inspirations were retro Capcom and live service titles. Highly stylized.
Art Direction / Concept Art

Art Direction
Illustration work/marketing art and concept art directed for the story mode of Shot One. AD and concepts by Sirio Brozzi in conjunction with Pietro Antognioni, Cameron Sewell, Dana Al Saoub.
The goal with Shot One Fighters was to create a colorful universe. A universe that people could truly immerse themselves in.
Channeling ideas from the community, I was able to create some truly
colorful designs. Including coloful, over the top characters like Queen Kyu- A feline queen who wants to stand tall like her humanoid peers via the use of a mech her empire developed.
I guided a full roster of characters from concept to 3D, including animations, cinematics and more.
Concept To 3D
Art Direction
Sample process of translating a rough concept from 2D to 3D while managing every step of the pipeline. From maintaining the painterly feel of the original concept, to the 3D model (Bitgem), to overseeing rigging and animation feel (Andrew Helenek).

To tell such a complex tale with real life parallels though, I felt the need to latch onto something everyone could enjoy.
The art direction and designs needed to be endearing and colorful, creating a draw that would hopefully appeal to people of all ages.
So that is how the Shot One art style was born. I channeled my childhood. The 90's arcade boom. The golden age of Capcom which left such an impression on me growing up.
Mixed with a highly expressive animation style thanks to our 3D and animation team, which I worked closely with to translate the whimsical concept style into living, breathing characters.
